I think there might be some time that I will still post here but not often. I really want to try and stay up on my blog and it was really hard to do last year with how busy I was. So I figured if I combined my blogs it would give me more motivation to get things done instead of feeling like I have too many things going on.

So, what that being said, I know there are not many of you but I would love for you to follow my other blog and join my on this adventure of being a stay at home mom of two and also a photographer. I honestly never expected my life to be where it is today, but I am loving it and I am so grateful. Please click below to connect to the other page.

Hannah Sons Photography
H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187052026054691205.post-5557349795741865372010-11-09T16:14:00.001-08:002010-11-09T16:16:48.124-08:00Coming out of Hiatus…
I can’t make any promises that I will start blogging all the time again, but I do want to make an effort to do much more than what I have been.. Yes, I know the three of you that probably read this are just jumping with excitement right now… Hate to burst that bubble but my life has been pretty boring. I have been working like crazy, super crazy, with my photography, Wes has also been working a lot and long hours and most days I am just tying to keep my head above water with two kids. Seriously, who said this stay at home mom thing was easy?? They were high when they told you that because there has been nothing easy about two kiddos.

Bailey is going to be six months next week and I can hardly believe it. Where did the time go? The first three months were a big rough for ALL of us but once we hit that 3mo mark things have been smooth sailing ever since. She is such an awesome baby. Puts herself to sleep, wakes with a smile and most days just goes with the flow. She got her first bottom tooth on Oct. 29th and then her second one popped through today! So far she has been doing pretty well with teething. She was restless and cranky a few day previous to the first tooth coming through but nothing since then. I was able to even go out to dinner with a client the other night and she just sat there!! COMPLETLY opposite from her lovely brother. I think Logan is just going to give me grey hair my whole life and keep me on my toes. What he doesn’t know though is I have done it all, and I totally prepared for him and his little stunts.

My little Logan is growing up so fast. Talking in full sentences and telling me what HE wants. There are times when Wes and I just look at each other and laugh because we have no clue where he comes up with some of his stuff. He is such a little character and already has to be the life of the party/house! I savoir nap time. To have a quiet house for at least an hour with the little people sleeping is my sanity of the day. Then after naps, I count down the time until bed…

Kohl is going to be 10 next week.. TEN!! Holy cow. He was just a little guy when Wes and I got together and now he is going to be 10!!! He is matured so much and is doing really well. Now, I just need him to slow down on his growing, so his clothes maybe will fit longer than a month.

Here are some pictures, mostly of the last month.

<img style="border-right-width: 0px; Although, I find truth in this, I have having a hard time with it at the moment. What is the tree is ready to let go of the apple? What is the tree wants to see the apple be apart from it and see it shine as one and not being “connected” to the tree. Why am I sitting here comparing myself to a darn tree.. ugh! I am at that point in my pregnancy that I feel defeated. I feel like I have been fighting to keep it together for nine months and now I am physically and emotionally ready to give up.

I know that this is supposed to be a joyous time in our lives and I should enjoy every minute of this pregnancy, especially since it will be my last, but I am having a hard time today. My patience with Logan dwindle with each day and I HATE that I get so frustrated with him. He probably thinks I am one looney person crying for no reason or when the only thing I am mad about it that ALL of his toys are spread across my living floor again and I have to crawl around to pick them up. It takes so much energy to do the little things and that is driving me nuts. I am really trying to be patient and I know that I am not in control of this situation but I want to see my little girl.

This is going to sound really bad, but I am only 36.2 weeks pregnant. So there is no reason why I should be complaining now. I should have at least waiting a week. After going to my ultrasound appointment on Tues and finding out that she is already weighing 7lbd 9oz made me a little anxious. I really DO NOT want to push out a 9-10lb kid. That really just doesn’t sound fun to me and frankly I like my woohoo is one piece. I don’t want to have to call Dr. 90210 to fix my privates because I gave birth to a 12lb kid. Yes, I know that people have 10lb babies all the time. Remember I worked in Labor and Delivery, I was there, I saw them give birth, and power to them, but that is NOT my cup of tea…. No thank you.

so, plan of action from here. I am now a good 3-4cm and 60% effaced so I have my next apt on Tuesday and my doc is going to strip my membranes and hope that puts me in labor. Regardless we are going to schedule an amino for wed. or Thurs. to see if her lungs are mature. If they are, we shall induce, if not, we wait a week and induce. So yes, there is light at the end of the tunnel. But for someone like me who is very impatient… I would like to be on the other side of that tunnel right now looking back.

The joys of being a woman. . . Ha! Just give me a couple weeks and I will have a post complaining about all the NON sleep I am getting due to having a newborn in the house. Nothing can be worse than Logan, so bring it on, I am ready!!
H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187052026054691205.post-71374897001749002082010-04-27T14:10:00.001-07:002010-04-27T14:10:47.602-07:00Baby Shower
Last Saturday I was honored with a baby shower thrown by one of my closest friends. I am so, so, so thankful to have the most amazing friends. It truly means so much to me. I met Lindsay 6 years ago when she started working at Loma Linda. Not in a million years did I ever think we would have become this close. She has the most amazing family and I also love that our husbands get a long and we can hang out. Linds offered to throw my baby shower months ago and I will thrilled to hear it. I told her I wanted easy and not to go all out, but of course she put all her effort into it and it came out great. It was a mix between family and friends, but I have to say my Loma Linda girls stole the show!!! They are all such a funny, outgoing group of woman. I am so thankful that I was able to meet them during my time at LLU and to still be able to call them friends even though I am no longer working there.

Here are some on the many pictures from the shower. I really cannot believe I am putting these up here. I guess you really don't know what you look like until you see pictures of yourself. I am normally the person behind the camera and after seeing these I am glad! I feel really good this pregnancy and I have hardly gained any weight, but after seeing these I know I have a lot of work to do after Bailey comes.. bye bye double chin.

All the Loma Linda girls.

The preggo girls minus Cheryl.

Miss Lindsay, my wonderful friend and the HOST

ahhh.. the DHCKS minus K. I have only gained 9lbs this pregnancy, which doesn’t say much when you are already fat, but I am proud. I think I gained a good 50 with Logan so I plan on losing that asap.

Bailey seems to be on her own schedule, which is fine by me as long as she comes out healthy. I will try to keep you posted. It was the best gift ever. I used it all the time and then like everything else in my life, it was used less and less and then put away in the closet. In the last couple months I have been using it again and I am so in love with this thing.

I really do love the way I feel after making juice. For the rest of the day I just feel healthy, in a sense. If I make juice in the morning I don’t feel hungry all day long and constantly in the pantry looking for something to eat. I must be doing something right because I have only gained 6 pounds this pregnancy..

When Logan was sick, I started researching what juices helped with their little bodies and I kept coming to carrots over and over. Carrots are sweet when juiced but there is no way I could get him to drink it alone. Adding apples has helped. Through trail and error I know now what he will drink. I put two medium sized carrots and an apple ,sometime and apple and a half, for him and he loves it. He normally doesn’t get juice, we only give him water, So for him this is a treat and I would like to keep it that way so he is doesn’t know the difference. I know that juicing can be high in sugar but if you use the right things it is also very good for you. This is something I hope I can keep up on this time and not put my juicer back in the closet. I just wish fruits and veggies were cheaper!

This is what Logan gets:

This is my drink when finished…

and I may have or have not eaten this when I finished cleaning everything up this morning, and I for sure didn’t eat two!

H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187052026054691205.post-1563729417330683012010-03-29T11:08:00.001-07:002010-03-29T11:08:54.971-07:00Ice Cream Mama….
Logan brought me some yogurt this morning out of the fridge and said “ Ice cream please mama” This put a huge smile on face and I could do nothing but say ok.. ( ha! like I was going to tell him it wasn’t ice cream!)

He was so funny to watch. It was a lemon flavor so it does have a little ting to it, but his face was priceless! He is getting so big I can hardly believe it sometimes. I would try to help him eat it and he would refuse unless he could do everything on his own. He would say “ No mama, Mine!” OH OK.. you got it. Ill just sit here and watch!

and wouldn’t you know…. he finished ALL the “ice cream”
H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187052026054691205.post-11976193484983341762010-03-19T20:43:00.001-07:002010-03-20T11:54:48.816-07:00There is Light at the end of the Tunnel.
For the last three months we have been dealing with a whole lot of sickness in this house. Nothing major, but enough to keep us all up and worried/stressed at times. ( sorry this is a little long…)

Logan has had this croupy cough since mid December early January, we really didn’t think to much of it but then his lymph nodes started to get big and we could feel more and more. With everything we have gone through with Wes we didn’t want to mess around so I made him an appointment. I figured they were just big because he had been somewhat sick but Wes wanted to make sure that was all it was. Sure enough the doc wasn’t worried about it at all. Said it was very normal and not to worry, but that he did have a pretty bad ear infection in both ears and also a sinus infection which was causing this cough. What!?! He has shown NO signs of any problems with his ear let alone TWO! Okay, no problem, we have an ear infection, we will take the meds and be done with it… Yea Right! He seemed to get better with the meds but the day we stopped the antibiotics he got worse. He had his two year check up coming so I figured I would just wait until then. The last two weeks in January I don’t think we slept in this house. He was up all night coughing and hacking and puking because he would cough so hard. At his apt. the doc said that his ears were not any better nor was the sinus infection. So round TWO of meds here we come, she also gave me some cough syrup to help us sleep. That was a joke trying to get him to take. If I could get it down him, he would make himself vomit so it would come right back up… ugh. To speed along this story let’s just say we did three round of antibiotics and nothing was getting better, plus we got pink eye on top of all of this. When we saw his normal pediatrician the last time she said his ears were just full of fluid and nothing was releasing, but in order to get tubes put in his ears we had to wait another month ( this was the beginning of March). I told her I really didn’t want to try anymore antibiotics so she gave us some nose spray and some stuff that is stronger than Claritin over the counter but that we could also try this doctor that many people have had good results with. I was willing to try anything so I said sure. Of course I looked her up when we got home and I was so pleased with what I found. She is a pediatrician but also a D.O. If you have never heard of a DO this is a definition I found that fits pretty well: The DO is trained to evaluate the person in a holistic way. The goal of the DO is not simply to treat problems as they arise, but as well to prevent problems by evaluating the total health and health risks of the person. This evaluation may include not only looking at quantifiable risk factors for disease but also evaluation of the person in terms of their home life, their stress level and their work life. As well, disease is evaluated in terms of how it affects the entire body, not simply a few parts of the body.

I took Logan to see her almost two weeks ago. We went over everything and then she “manipulated” his head and back ( just like a chiropractor would do) She said that his head was super jammed into his neck and he was very crooked. She also asked me questions like did he breastfeed? .. no, cause he wouldn’t latch on… Did he have reflux? .. Yes, severe, we were on meds for months when he was a baby. Well, come to find out, all these things we have been through were a result of his birth, his head, and his torticollis ( twisted neck from being squished inside me). I was AMAZED. It was like I was sitting there talking to someone who knew EVERYTHING we had been through for the last two years and she knew why and how to fix it!!! Literally two days after we saw this doctor my kid was back to his normal self, could breath and he slept through the night!!!! We saw her again just this past week and his ears are also MUCH, MUCH better. We are still having to watch the left side because it is only about 80% better, but the right one is clear and this was with NO MEDICATION!!!! I cannot sit here and tell you how happy I am with this doctor. After Logan was born I knew I wanted to change our lifestyle by trying use different cleaning products, more natural ones.. but I didn’t want to be one of the “holy green people”. So I just made little changes and was happy with him. Now, that I have seen this new doctor and her method works better than jumping to first medication they can find in their book, I am making more changes.. I am going to try and get the whole family switched over to a DO doc. I know that this method is not for everyone, but the reason I like it is because they will try other things, and more natural ways of curing things before giving out meds. But if all else fails, they can still give the meds.

I guess it just is a new way for our family….. I figured, why not try new ways, new methods, and if those things don’t work, then I will go back to the old ways, but with these doctors I can do it all from the comfort of one office.

And of course, I get Logan better and on the right path and then I get sick…. never fails I tell ya!

Here are pictures of my new/old son.. He is new to us from the last three months, but the old kid I knew I always had.. And boy his energy level is UP there!!!

This is him pointing his finger and telling me NO!

Ahh what a joy at times.

And we have started the first faze of POTTY TRAINING.. I wrote this about two weeks ago but it was on my lap top and i forgot to publish it.. so here ya have it. I need to write more because new stuff has happened)

Once again I have been lagging in my blogging skills. Lately, at the end of the day it is so hard to find time to sit down and write about everything that has been going on. In the midst of things I feel like I am going crazy because it has been non stop in the Sons’ house. But then when I go to think of neat stories to tell I can’t come up with any.

The busy things that we have been doing are pretty much your normal day to day things that everyone does in their daily life. I will be 27 weeks tomorrow and Wes and I are getting so excited to see our new little girl . This pregnancy has been so different from anything I experienced with Logan. My body has been changing in so many different ways and even the way I feel as a whole is totally different. I had a check up last week and the doctor checked me because I told her I have been having lots of pressure, something I never felt with Logan, everything was fine but she did tell me I need to rest more and stay off my feet. I guess to the normal person this would be great, but with a two year old, this is horrible. How and where am I supposed to find the time to rest or stay off my feet when Logan is around. This kid has been on a personality outrage for a good month now. He comes up with new facial expressions and ways to tell me NO each day. At times he is so funny it is really hard to discipline him. For example tonight at the dinner table he was throwing food and his toy cars he had to bring with him. He was given many chances to sit down and eat, so I looked up and said “Do you want a spankin?” He looked up at me, lowered his eye brows so he could look “mean” and said “YA!” I could do nothing but look away at that point so he didn’t see my laughing. That is where is Dad stepped in a took over in the discipline dept. because there was no way I could follow through at that moment.

We are still planning on moving down the mountain in the next six months or so. We would have of like to been down by March but I want to have all of our bills paid off before moving, so we are now hoping to be down by August. The only places that we want to move are Grand Terrace and Yucaipa area so hopefully something in our price rage will be open by then that we both like.

I guess besides that there is really nothing else new. I have been super busy taking pictures which is great. I really never thought it would come to this point. I also thought that after the holidays I would be without work, but that has not been the case. Since the new year I have been pretty busy. I have just put my business in the Lord's hands and asked him to take me where he thinks I need to be. So far so good and I am so grateful.

I know I say this often, but I will really try and post more on here and also get some recent pictures up.
H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187052026054691205.post-9974640620123346972010-01-31T23:37:00.001-08:002010-01-31T23:37:44.900-08:00“I Two Mama” – Logan Sons 1.30.10
My baby turned TWO yesterday. I can hardly believe it. Where did this last year go? I caught myself reflecting more on his birth and his life now, than I did when he turned one. I don’t know why this is, but it made me emotional. Well, not that I actually write those words, it is most likely because I am pregnant and everything makes me emotional these days. I also think it’s because I was so worried I wasn’t going to be able to keep my child alive to his first birthday and was just so relieved when that day finally came.

We didn’t do much for his BIG day. Just hung around the house and then had my parents comes over for some burgers and cake. First thing in the morning I told Logan happy birthday and then got him to say, “ I two mama!”. So anytime he heard Happy Birthday he would say “ Birthday.. I two!”. One big bummer of the day was he woke up sick. I though it was just his sinus’ again so I wasn’t to worried but today he has had a fever and I just had to call the on-call doc for his fever that was 103.0. I can stay pretty level headed most of the time, and my experience from working at the hospital kicks in and I just play it cool. But then there are days like today when I am emotionally and physically drained and so so sooo tired that I find it hard to keep it together and not think the worst. Luckily the doc told me I was doing everything right and not to worry. So as I write this tonight, not only am I thankful my kid made it to his FIRST birthday but I am ecstatic I got him to his SECOND birthday. He has brought so much joy into our lives and keeps us on our toes daily. He has no clue what is coming in May with a new little sister, but we hope he will make the smooth transition.

Happy Birthday Logan. There was so much snow piled in front of our gate there was NO way I would have ever been able to dig us out. On Saturday I had to dig so that we could at least open the gate to get the tractor in behind the Tahoe and that was hard. Early Saturday morning Logan and I walked to my parents house and I helped dig out the side walks. HOLY COW… There was so much snow, and I haven’t been this sore in a very long time. I forgot what it felt like to use certain muscles. After digger we figured we got between 2-3 feet of snow. MORE than anyone has seen up here in a very long time.

The snow is great… for the first 24 hours and then….. It becomes a huge hassle that you are surrounded by and cannot run from. I normally hate being in the car, and I hate long rides, but yesterday we had to drive to Hollywood to pick up some stuff and I could not have been more thrilled just to be out of the house. While we were in Hollywood we also stopped to see my friend Diana, and I REALLY enjoyed my time with here. We left her house and drove down Hollywood Blvd. because I had never seen it.. O MAN.. It is amazing! We are for sure going back to walk around and people watch.

Anyway.. Back to the snow.. This is the most we have seen in one day in a very long time. It was nice at first but now we are all getting a little stir crazy. This morning Wes attempted to get my Dad’s tractor and fix our street and our driveway. After working for about 20mins we ran the tractor out of diesel. Running anything out of diesel = No Bueno! Guess who got picked to truck their butt across the snow to find more diesel. ME!!!! As I was walking back with my step mom in the snow I came to the realization that I would not make a good Eskimo, or if I had to be one, I would be much skinner! Walking in that deep snow is hard work! After everything was squared away and we came back home we let Logan play in the snow. This kid is so tuff. His purple hands and red cheeks do not even faze him. When he falls in the snow he just laughs and says “get up.. get up”. And of course he cried when it was time to come in and get warm. I am still in awe that my little monster is going to be TWO next weekend.. Man o man where did this year go.

ps. I failed to mention that Wes and I got up at 4am today to attempt to put chains on his car so he could go to work.. yeah.. that didn’t happen and now his car is stuck on the corner of our street.. ahh what a day…

As you look at these please excuse my son’s outfit. It is one of a kind. He is such a Mama’s boy. I cannot do anything without this kid by my side, or wanting to know where I am going. One thing is for sure though, he is one tuff kid. It is hard to believe he will be two at the end of this month. I catch myself just staring at him throughout the day wondering how I kept him alive this long and also wondering where he get all of his energy. His personality grows with each minute of each day and he is quite the character. He is pretty fond of his dad too, and is constantly trying to be like him and help him fix things around the house. When this kid falls, he doesn’t even cry, he laughs. He will have blood running from a body part, look up at me and say “ mama.. owie” and the continue doing whatever his little heart desires. His dad has many, many plans for this tough kid and his mama is just sitting back in fear wondering how I am going to handle all of it.

While we were up in Big Bear Wes got some ice cream and of course Logan wanted some too. The pictures I got of him I hold dear to my heart, because I feel they sum my little man up with no words.

That would be his “what do you want” face

That is actually a pretty good “crack” picture, compared to how he normally has his diaper/pants.

I love this picture because he looks just like his dad!

And, incase you are wondering… His face is NEVER clean. This year I was just not havin it. I think Christmas has become so materialistic and that is NOT what it should be about. We should gather and celebrate the birth of Jesus and everything he did for us. Anywho, I guess I will just have to prepare myself a little more for next Christmas and also I probably should start shopping a little sooner and not wait until the week before!

Ever since Wes and I have been together we go up to the Big Bear cabin the day after Christmas and stay up there until New Years. So of course this year was no different. The only exception is Wes worked mon-wed while we were there, which he has never done before. I was bummed that it only snowed once while we were there and it was for a brief hour.

There is a street four houses down from the cabin called Fisher Rd. Every year there is snow on it and it is a road the county doesn’t maintain so it is also the local hot spot. The first couple days I had Logan go down with Kohl because I wasn’t sure how he was going to react and I also needed Kohl to help him walk back up because I knew before hand I would NOT have the energy to keep up with those boys. Once Wes was there we put him on his own sled and the boy had a blast. As he would walk back up the hill he would yell “WEE WEE”. Logan has no fear and also a very high pain tolerance so it was a awesome to watch him go down this hill over and over again. Kohl on the other hand is just as nutty and isn’t happy unless he is going faster and bigger than everyone else around him. I was looking at our pictures from last year compared to this year and I can’t believe how much they have grown. I still can’t believe my baby will be two at the end of this month.. ahhh

So here are some of my favorites…

<img style="border-bottom: 0px; I have been ill and busy. Is that good enough?

As for the ill part, I am now 19 weeks preggo and this pregnancy has taken EVERYTHING out of me. The first 16 weeks I was super nauseous and could not hold anything down, but oranges, and then I got a nasty cold that has lasted me a month and I am finally getting over. Now that I am starting to feel better I am just super tired. Does it ever stop? I honestly don’t remember feeling this way with Logan. Yes, I had horrible migraines and we were dealing with Wes’ chemo treatments so there was not a lot of time for me to feel ill, but the way I have felt for the last 19 weeks is for the birds.

To top it all off, I was super busy with pictures. Now, please don’t take that as complaining, I LOVE taking pictures and I LOVE the business, I had just wished I felt better and I was able to rest and get better faster. Needless to say, <strike>I have felt,</strike> I have been neglecting my family and my home (by the looks of it, you can totally tell) since the beginning on November.

We are pretty sure our baby is a GIRL!!!!! I will be able to confirm this on Tues and I cannot wait to see her little body again. Let’s be honest, we totally wanted a little girl and had been praying since the time we found out we were expecting baby #2. I really didn’t think it would happen and prepared myself for another little boy running around destroying everything he came in arms length to. When I was laying on the table and our friend was trying to get the baby to move around so she could get a good look so many things were running through my mind. I couldn’t even grasp the fast that I was laying there with my second child inside me. I would be grateful for whatever the child may be, but yes, I wanted a little girl. When our friend Amy said “ do you want to see HER privates?” I could hardly believe what I was hearing. Tears started to run down my face as I looked at Wes. He then started laughing at me and said he thought I would only cry if it were a boy. Now that I am pretty sure I am carrying this little girl I have so many fears for her and for us. Man, we are going to be in for it! Pre-warning to any boy that would like to call my house in 15 years… The shot gun is always loaded and ready for use, and you do not only need to worry about her father, but also her crazy mother!

I wish I had some pictures to share with you, but I have also been neglecting my family in that area. It is so true that when you start taking pictures of other families, you forget to take pictures of your own.

Ahh. Here are a couple. Logan is now out of his crib and in Kohl’s bed. He is in this new faze where we have to lay when him until he falls asleep. At times this is nice, especially for a tired pregnant lady and other times it can be annoying. The only show Logan will watch is Sponge Bob which he pronounces, Ba bop. There are a few occasions where I can prop him up on his bed in front of the t.v. to watch ba bop and normally this is what happens. Boy, he just melts my heart! ♥

H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187052026054691205.post-56919414858022522962009-10-24T22:17:00.001-07:002009-10-24T22:17:43.812-07:00I’m in Love…

With my Family!

The end.
H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187052026054691205.post-56758723241984068842009-10-24T21:59:00.001-07:002009-10-25T12:52:07.260-07:00Grandma is Wild at Heart

She was a little scared at first, but she managed to have a little fun!
H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187052026054691205.post-64534013958818175852009-10-23T21:24:00.001-07:002009-10-24T09:04:38.761-07:00One Day of My Life
Logan wakes at 8am, I jump up and rush to get a bottle before he fully awakes hoping I can sleep until 9.

He then finishes his bottle and I try to play possum thinking he will want to be like mommy and go back to sleep, this only results in him yelling MOM-E and then kissing me ( who can resist that?) After the sweet soft kiss that melts my heart, he then thinks he is in WWF and starts jumping all over me.

I then realize that today is the day I need to go to the grocery store and actually by my family some food. Oh yay! I proceed in the bathroom where I then decided that my hair actually doesn’t look dirty and I will be able to throw it up and no one will ever know I didn’t shower today. At this same moment I turn around to find Logan playing with his toy car in the toilet. So what do I do? I roll up his sleeves and make HIM fish it out of that dirty thing and then I wash it off so he can continue to play with it.

Now it is time to make my shopping list, because without this list I will come home with NOTHING I need but everything that looked good. As I am sitting at the computer writing my list, Logan decides he wants to be in the chair with me. He climbs up my legs like I am the latest and greatest jungle gym, then starts playing with his toy car all over the list I am trying to write and throws the biggest fit when I move him so I can keep writing before I forget everything I need.. I have to jump up and check the fridge to see what else I am missing, only to come back to a little boy in my chair that refuses to move. Ok, so I sit down on him and then he decides the best thing is to stand behind me and play with my hair. Aww love. He is so sweet when he wants to be. Wait.. he is getting a little rough,, ahh that hurts. Wait, what is that in my hair??? Oh wonderful! It is the toy car that I made him fish out of the toilet 20 minutes earlier.

As I start to get dressed ( and can’t find anything to wear) Logan starts running around the house yelling all sorts of nonsense that I can’t understand. When it is time to dress him he continues to run FROM me! At this point, when I can’t catch him, I am ready to call it quits and stay home. Only to remember that we have NO food and my family is counting on me. Finally get Logan dressed only to realize that the jeans that fit him last week are WAY to small today. Of course I can’t find his new jeans, so shorts it is.

Driving to the store, which is 45 minutes away, I listen to him in the back seat call out every horse he sees (hee hee) and yell for Daaaadeee and Da (grandpa). I probably explain 30 or more times that Daaadee and Da are both at work and yes that is a hee hee.

First stop, Costco. Wait for parking… did I really decided to come shopping on a Friday? Wow, that was dumb. Jam in Costco and head straight for the soy milk. Load up my cart and head straight for the check out. If you start looking around in Costco, you money tends to stay at Costco and not go home with you.. Oh.. is this the snack isle. Why yes it is! Ok, I will get Wes some snacks for him lunch and then I am OUT!

Leave Costco and get Logan some lunch from Burger King. The ride from Costco to Staters is nothing but French fries and chicken stars, it is a very quiets ride too. My kid loves him some food.

Walk in Starters to find out I have just refueled my child and he wants to talk to every person that walks by us. This results in ME talking to every person that walks by us. When I finally make it out of there I am beat. I feel like I have just been interviewed by Barbra Walters for the last hour.

Logan is very quiet on the ride home. I look in the rear view mirror to check on him only to find him trying to keep his heavy little eyes open. Ahh he has lost the fight, he is out!

Get home, start unloading to car, it is now really sinking in that I am beat and have no energy to accomplish anything. Please let Dad get home soon. As I am taking groceries in the house I notice my child has gotten in the dogs water. This is not your average dog bowl. This is 50 gallon drum cut in half. The water goes to Logan’s chest, great he is swimming in the dog water, with his shoes on. Oh well.. I have food to take in. On my next trip outside he is now out of the dog water and in the dirt.. hmmm water+dirt= MUD. Oh how I love my child. Logan is still rolling around in the dirt and the dog is watching him so I’ll go inside and put away the food. I look out the window to see that DAD IS HOME! YAY YAY YAY. Mom gets a break.

Sit on the couch for the next hour watching TV while the boys play outside. Everyone comes in and we decide to eat Pizza for dinner. Wes wants to eat it there and I want him to go pick it up.. Wes wins, we all get in the car. Oh great, Logan is now grumpy and screaming in the Pizza pallor as we wait for food. I then explain to Wes this is why I wanted to eat at home. I sit there waiting for my food trying to drown out the sound of my child screaming because he has to sit in the highchair. Well what do you know…. food comes and he is a happy camper. Like I said… my boy loves him some food.

Come home, let the boys run around like wild maniacs for an hour. As they are running around I lay on my bed with my eyes closed listening to all the ruckus and think to myself ..wow, this is my life now, please let this new baby be a girl! =) Right about this same time I hear Logan whining through the house.. mama.. ma ma .. ba ba..

Yes.. my boy wants a Ba ba.. off to bed you go and now I sit her and write when I should be in bed.

I know this was very long, and probably boring. But that is just one day of my life as a stay at home mom. It really doesn’t get more exciting than this. But I do have to say, I love it. Yes, there are times when I would like to run away for a couple hours, but I am so happy with my life right now and being able to spend my days with Logan.
H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187052026054691205.post-28675535346558372092009-10-21T22:20:00.001-07:002009-10-21T22:20:28.507-07:00Did you know…..

That I have a HOT, Athletic sister? None, zip, ZERO! I really hate feeling this way. There are so many things that need to get done, or that I could be doing, and I can’t find one ounce of energy to get any of it. I blame it on the baby inside me. I picture it as a little alien with a big mouth like the Nintendo game Kirby, sucking all my energy up before I can even blink an eye. Besides having no energy I am feeling pretty good. I am mostly getting sick at night and dinner tends to not want hang out with me, it would rather be in toilet!

With everything going on we decided to put Logan into daycare once a week. I really needed a day to myself to sleep, clean, or just do nothing. Logan really needed an out from mom too. I could tell he was just getting so bored, and when he gets bored, watch out. The kid is nuts. His personality is sprouting with each day, he is quiet the character. You can ask him anything and his answer will be “ya”. He calls my Dad “Da” and we figured it’s because I call him dad, but he knows that is not his Dad. He would probably move in with my parents if we let him, that is his favorite place to be. And his most favorite thing to do while he is there is “a rye” which is “a ride” meaning.. I want to ride the RHYNO!!

So Logan goes to daycare every Tuesday and so far so good. I think it is great for him to interact with other kids his age. This last weekend we had Kohl and Logan did nothing but try to beat up his older brother who is much bigger than him. He also like to stand on the coffee table and jump to the couch yelling as loud as he can. I.. E.. FWEEE. Which we are guessing means, 1,2,3.

This last Friday we decided to renew our Disneyland passes and head down there. Oh man, not such a good idea, but I’ll save that for later after I edit the few pictures I have.

Sunday before we took Kohl home we drove to Temecula to the famous corn maze. It was hot, but fun! Half way through I felt we were never getting out of there and I was over it, but leave to to my husband to get is family out safe!

H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187052026054691205.post-24760356153350715862009-09-29T16:19:00.001-07:002009-09-29T16:19:46.204-07:00Big News!
We are expecting baby number TWO.

I could hardly believe my eyes when I peed on that sick! We are so thrilled to be blessed with another baby. My due date should be around May 25th, 2010, but since I grow big babies we are probably looking more towards the first two weeks in May.

I have so many emotions running through me it is crazy. I am so excited for another and also, so so scared. I don’t remember feeling this run down with Logan. I am so tired I can hardly get through the day. It doesn’t help that for the last two weeks Logan has been completely out of control. This is why we are starting day care tomorrow for once a week. I think it will be really good for him to socialize with other kids and to have an outing from home. This will also be good for me, so that once a week I can sleep, clean, or doing nothing for six whole hours.

After working in Labor and Delivery for five years and seeing all the bad things that can happen I become very anxious during pregnancy. I felt this way with Logan, but since Wes was battling cancer when I was pregnant with Logan it wasn’t as easy to think about what could go wrong. This time I already feel that I am questioning what is going on with my body and I’m a whooping six weeks.

So I ask, please pray from my sanity along with good health for baby and myself.
H.Sonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16872431838046642236noreply@blogger.com4
