Venice Beach

On Saturday after a very rough morning at home, we decided to go to Venice Beach. Wes had never gone and I love going! Oh, I could sit there all day long in the same spot and look at all the different people. Originally Shelly was going to watch the baby but after our rough morning and at one point deciding not to go we called and told her we wouldn't be needing her. After and hour or two we decided what the heck, and took off. Can I just tell you that traffic was ridiculous! I cannot stand sitting in traffic, it makes me go nutty and puts my in a HORRIBLE mood! But once we got there I was good to go. We walked up and down looking and all the shops and people and before we left we wanted Logan to play in the sand and run around a little so he would sleep on the way home! As I have mentioned before, my kid loves water! He doesn't care how cold it is, just to be in or near it makes him happy. So after walking through the deep sand Wes thought it would be nice to let him touch the water. Wes said we had to reward him for his effort of walking through the sand! Ha . Ya just watch!

First we find the sand and start to play...

Second: We find the water, and Dad does everything he can to keep Logan on his feet...

Logan then escapes and makes a break for it...

Soon after escaping he cannot walk so he falls into the water.

and then is as happy as a clam to be wet!

He just kept running back for more and more...

It was a struggle to get him out of the water...

Once we did we had one sandy, salty boy. Luckly I had water in the car for a little rinse off!

It was such a wonderful day spent with my family. I hope for many more days just like that, minus the traffic!
