Dirt Devil

This kid LOVES to be outside. . .

If I would let him he would go outside all day and play in rocks, dirt and with Petey. Lat night I opened the front door to grab something and off he went, with only a diaper! Yes, my little white trash baby that we never put clothes on, or so it seems. We have so many pine needles and pine cones on our ground it's crazy, and those suckers hurt when you step on them. Well, that doesn't bother Logan, he has feet of steel! Wes and I just sat on the porch and watched him run around. We were talking we all of a sudden Logan took a header to the ground after stepping in a hole! I gasped and we sat there with anticipation waiting for the scream that was going to come out of his mouth when the kid jumps up and continues on his way. . . Now if we would have been inside and that happened we wouldn't of heard the end of him.

All I have to say is my kid is a outdoors kind of guy! He feels in his element when he steps outside that door. He doesn't like to be bothered when he is out there and I feel sorry for the one who tries to bring him back in!

A Day Trip

On Thursday Wes was off from work so we decided to use our free trip to Sea World! We got to Sea World and NO ONE was there. Wes made a comment that it was boring without all the people and I agreed! We love to people watch and look at all the funky things people wear. So we walked around, looked at all the different fish and went the the Shamu show. I have to say I wasn't too impressed with anything that day. My hopes were also a little let down because I thought that Logan would enjoy the animals a little more than he did. All he cared about was the different people around him and laughing at them! Around One o'clock we decided we had seen enough and decided to go to Sea Port Village to walk around.
IT was such a beautiful day. I had an amazing time with my husband and kid. I love being near the beach. There is such a sense of peace there! People are so free willed. I would love to be more like that!

D.H.C.K.S.

The D.H.C.K.S. (pronounced Dicks) We were the greatest friends in High School. I think Kalin and I caused the most trouble, but boy did we all have some fun. For example; going to the bamboo on Blue Mountain, but not before we raided Diana's house for all it's food. Snow ditch day, up to Forest Falls, where Kalin decided she was cold and put my deceased Nana's sweater on like sweats. And who could forget the Beach ditch day, with Kalin, Courtney and myself. We got sunburnt which was hard to explain to our parents. I tried to say we had a "Field day" at school, but lets just say I was grounded.

I love you girls. You ALL have a special place in my heart♥

Jr. High

WOW. Jr. High! Today I went out and bought one of those printer/scanner/copier/fax machines and boy is it great. I have never owned a scanner and now I know why. This thing has consumed my whole afternoon, and also made me depressed to see how much weight I have gained.

Anyway... Back to the post. Jr. High! I found this pictures today and they brought a huge smile to my face. These were the days! We were so carefree and lived our lives with nothing to worry about, except if the boy we liked looked at us! These pictures were from our 8Th grade dance (I think). Man we were babies! We had our friends and that is all the mattered.

We had our little group which consisted of: Kalin, Dana, Diana, Sheila, Rachel, Megan and myself. That year we got a limo. I really don't remember how we did it, but it happened and we drove to each girls house and hung out of the sun roof!

If I could only go back to theses days. There is so much I would do different and so much I would keep exactly like it was. I LOVED Jr. High. That may sound weird, but in 8Th grade I think I found myself. Someone I liked, not someone fake and trying to be something I wasn't, just me!

Well, here you have it. The 8Th grade dance. Great friends, Great times!

Wild Child

Remember a couple post back when I talked about Logan moving things so he could see out of the window? Well, now I have the proof. He did this last week. It kept Penny and him occupied for while. He did fall a couple times, but that didn't bother him. My son could sit at the door or window and look outside all day long. He loves to be outdoors. Last night I came home from work, Wes opened the back door and said "there's your mom" Logan got real excited and then when I knelt down to kiss him he ran the other way and wanted to play with the dogs. He could care less I was home,he was just happy because he was free! When Wes picked him up to come inside he was SOO mad.
He is my wild child that is for sure. He has such a free spirit. Lets see if he is stays this way.. If so, my kid could be the next one trying to tie himself to a tree somewhere so they won't cut it down..

Okay so this last picture... Yes he fell. But that is not why I am showing this to you. Do you see what is in his hand? That yellow controller? Well if you find Logan, you will find this controller! He has this thing with his 24/7! It is to a little car. I took the batteries out of it because he could care less about the car, he only wants that darn controller.

We are BAD

Actually Wes is bad, I just took the pictures.

Wes found my swimming cap in the room the other day and decided it was a good idea to put it on Logan! HA. My poor kid! Look at this face!

They aren't the best pictures because of the flash, but the only thing near me was my "point and shoot" camera.

Sunny Days

Yesterday my sister had a softball game down in Hemet so we went to watch her. It was funny to watch Logan because he didn't know what direction to go. There was so much grass, he could go forever! Between Wes, my dad and I we were all able to keep a hold of him. It is getting harder and harder to keep him that boy entertained.

One thing is for sure. He LOVES his Grandpa. When he knows he is in trouble Grandpa is his Savior!

A New Playmate

Today My Son Found Himself!

He thinks he found a new buddy.

He has done this before, but today must have been more interesting.

This is just a small glimpse of what he did for a while.

Ahh to be young again!
